1.      This module will introduce students to basic concepts on management and entrepreneurship. 

2.      It describes and illustrates the process oriented perspective in entrepreneurship and business planning.

3.      It introduces students to key issues for a successful entrepreneurial activity: opportunity explotation, planning and managing new ventures, management skills and sustainability.

4.      It introduces the role of finance in new venture creation

It describes and illustrates the process of searching and identifying opportunities

It introduces students to key issues for a successful exploitation of information and communication technologies when analysing market opportunities and competitors 

It introduces the “technology scanning” and “competitive intelligence” approaches.
